Highway partially closed due to accident

December 16, 2011

State Highway 59S is currently closed to all but small passenger vehicles. A semi, which was transporting a wide load, has the roadway blocked after the load shifted.
A partial lane remains open as Law Enforcement and work crews wait for a crane to arrive from Tulsa to replace the load onto the trailer.
According to witnesses, small cars and trucks can pass through the partially obstructed lane but semi tractor trailers are blocked from traveling through the narrow lane.

Famous Idaho Potato Bowl — This was formerly the Humanitarian Bowl on the blue turf at Boise State University. It's Utah State vs. Ohio. I think the Mid-American Conference will prevail as the Bobcats beat the Aggies.

I got run over by a minivan Wednesday night

December 16, 2011

I went to Walmart Wednesday night because my wife, Jenny — a.k.a., “Princess” — needed a few things.
We pulled up into the parking lot. It just started to rain. I was in Walmart for about an hour shopping and visiting with an ol' friends Bobby Heavener, Roger Mattox and Kathy Dalton.
