Pocola's scrimmage date, site changed — moved to Friday night at Stigler

August 25, 2011

For those wanting to see the Pocola Indians on the gridiron, they will need to wait one more night.
Instead of scrimmaging the Stigler Panthers at 7 p.m. tonight, they will meet them at 7 p.m. Friday. And instead of facing the Panthers at John Carter Field, it will take place in Stigler.
While the site of the Indians' final preseason scrimmage was not important, what is important is to continue riding the momentum the team has been on since ending the 2010 season on a three-game winning streak.
