Three men are being treated for stab wounds after a fight at a Panama bar.
According to sources, a fight broke out at Jimmy's west of Panama on State Highway 31 at approximately 10:30 p.m. During the fight, three men were reportedly stabbed, one of them in critical condition.
For the second game in a row at Costner Stadium, the Poteau Pirates drew a top 10 team in the Fort Gibson Tigers.
BOKOSHE — The Bokoshe Tigers notched their first win of the season at home Friday, blunting Eagle Point Academy 36-18.
Friday's win was the Tigers' first since they beat Eagle Point last season.
ANTLERS — The Panama Razorbacks got their first win of the season Friday night, but it wasn't easy. Leading 33-15 with two minutes lead in the final period, the Antlers Bearcats scored twice compliments of Panama turnovers to make it a game. In the end, the Hogs prevailed 33-30 to improve to 1-5 overall and 1-2 in District 2A-6 play.
