The 2012 PIT Camp 3-on-3 Winter Classic basketball tournament will take place Dec. 29 at the Wister High School Gymnasium.
The entry fee is $10 per player, with no team having more than four players.
ARKOMA — It was a historic late afternoon and night on Monday at the Arkoma Gym as the first-ever Green Valley Conference Tournament got underway.
The host Lady Mustangs and the Panama Lady Razorbacks, along with the Keota Lady Lions, got the first wins of the newly-formed event.
Arkoma held off a fourth-quarter furious rally by the Wister Lady Wildcats to win 58-55, while Panama beat the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets for the second time in three days in a 35-22 victory. Keota knocked off McCurtain 70-58 as the Howe Lady Lions received a first-round bye.

HEAVENER — The Heavener High School basketball teams will enter this weekend's Wilburton Tournament by splitting home games with the tournament's host teams.
The Wolves kept their record perfect on the young season with a 48-43 win over the Diggers, but the Lady Diggers were too much for the Lady Wolves as they posted a 64-41 road victory.

WILBURTON — The Whitesboro Bulldogs basketball team highlighted a Saturday filled with LeFlore County teams coming home with hardware.
The Bulldogs beat the Howe Lions 63-44 to win the Eastern Oklahoma State College Classic blue bracket title Saturday night at EOSC's Claud C. Dunlap Fieldhouse.
The Bulldogs made it to the title game with a 68-59 win over Cave Springs on Friday.
The Howe Lady Lions, like their Lion counterparts, came in second as they lost 37-27 to the Gans Lady Grizzlies in the blue bracket championship game.
