The Major League All-Star Game is not until July 10 at Kansas City's Kaufman Stadium, but for one LeFlore County softball player, there's an all-star game Monday night.
Poteau Lady Pirate Shelby Standridge will play in the 2012 Sparkler College Exposure All-Star Game Monday night in Westminister, Colo.
Standridge, who plays with the Oklahoma Elite softball team in the summer which went to the World Series last August in Kansas City, Kan., will showcase her talents in both the outfield and at shortstop while representing her team at the Sparkler College Exposure All-Star Tournament.
