Jaclynn Jones, 3, has a new lease on life after her mother donated her kidney to her.
According to Jaclynn's parents, April and Scott Goines, of Shady Point, Jaclynn was born with only one kidney which wasn't functioning properly. She was later placed on a transplant list but her mother's kidney was a suitable match and so the preparations began.
On July 18, the mother and daughter duo went into separate operating rooms to undergo the transplant surgery.
Both are recovering in Oklahoma City.
