January 27th
The National Football League season will officially end in two weeks. The Pro Bowl will take place Sunday night at Aloha Stadium in Honolulu, followed the by Super Bowl XLVI between the New York Giants and the New England Patriots the following Sunday at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
I always don't know what to do with myself, and I feel lost at the end of the football season.

Merle Dwain McClain, 74, of Heavener died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, at Fort Smith, Ark. Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
William Tobe Holt, 80, of Heavener died Wednesday, Jan. 25, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener.
Michelle Helton, 49, of Poteau died Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012, in Poteau. The family will hold a memorial service at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 29, at New Hope Cemetery in Spiro. Cremation is under the direction of Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
Roy “June” Eubanks Jr., 86, of Spiro died Wednesday, Jan. 18, 2012. Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 28, in Mount Triumph Baptist Church under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro.
Vester Queen, 88, of Heavener died Tuesday, Jan. 24, 2012, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Jan. 27, at the Loving Cemetery, Heavener, under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
Alice D. Blake, 91, of Shady Point died Wednesday, Jan. 4, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. Memorial services will be 2 p.m. Saturday Jan. 28, at Evans Chapel of Memories under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
William E. Whitton, 56, of Howe died Friday, Jan. 20, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
William was born June 6, 1955, in Sebastopol, Calif., to Robert Easco and H. Lorraine (Smith) Whitton. He was a recycling engineer. William would give you the shirt off his back. He helped many in the community. You could not help but love him.Â
Susan Jayne Waymire, 62, of Poteau died Jan. 23, 2012. She was born May 28, 1949, in Omaha, Neb., to Richard Crumbliss and Ava Jayne Turner. She was an accountant for nursing homes and a devoted member of Immanuel Baptist Church. Susan demonstrated her love for people in her community by being a volunteer of Samaritan’s Kitchen.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
