There will be one more game for four county basketball teams in the 81st LeFlore County Tournament.
The Whitesboro Bulldogs and the Heavener Lady Wolves reached Friday's fifth-place games with wins Wednesday at Carl Albert State College's Mick Thompson Fieldhouse.
The ’Dogs downed the Panama Razorbacks 68-59 to make it to Friday's 5:30 p.m. fifth-place game against Pocola at the Wister High School gym.
The Lady Wolves got past the Arkoma Lady Mustangs 55-46 to set up Friday afternoon's fifth-place gamne against Spiro at 4 p.m. in Wister.
WISTER — Two local teams, the Pocola Indians and the Spiro Lady Bulldogs, responded to quarterfinal losses with strong performances Wednesday night in the 81st LeFlore County Tournament at the Wister High School gym.
Two others, the tournament-host Wister Wildcats and the Bokoshe Lady Tigers, had to go overtime before punching their tickets to Thursday night's consolation finals.

A dominant effort on both ends of the floor allowed the NOC-Enid Jets to come away with an impressive 81-47 win over the Carl Albert State College Vikings in the second game Wednesday night.

LeFlore County Sheriff's Department released the name of two burn victims involved in a Monday night house fire near Spiro.
According to LeFlore County Undersheriff Kendall Morgan, Myrtle Cooper, 47, and Elec Cusick, 39, were the two victims found unconscious outside a home on Stewart Loop.
The fire still is under investigation, according to Morgan, which is why the release of the names was delayed.
Lake Wister State Park and Talimena State Park have joined together to promote a "heart healthy hiking" program for 2013.
A hike will be held each month alternating between the two parks. On February 9 a hike will be held at Talimena State Park and will be two to four miles in length. The hike will return to Lake Wister for a four mile hike March 9 starting at Wards Landing Campground. These hikes will begin at 1 p.m. Bottled water will be provided for all participants.
Mossie Lene Farrar, 88, of Cameron died Tuesday, Jan. 22, 2013, in Poteau. Mossie was born April 7, 1924, in Liberty Hill (Cameron), to Tom and Pearl (Fox) Anderson. She was a beautician. Mossie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Lenard Farrar; sister, Lois Dunlap; and granddaughter, Fatima.
Jean Bass, 89, of Poteau died January 22, 2013, in Poteau. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, Jan. 25, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel with the Rev. Jeff Little officiating. Burial will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Poteau. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at Grace Manor Funeral Home of Poteau.
Opal May Allison, 84, of Poteau died Wednesday, Jan. 23, 2013, in Poteau. Opal was born March 8, 1928, in Leflore to Bert and Eller (Hindricks) Robison. She was a member of the United Pentecostal Church. Opal was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, James Thomas Ferguson and Joe Allison; brothers, James Everett, Johnny and Bill Robison; sister, Mary Stephens; daughter, Flossie Mae Ridner; and great-grandson, Greyson Hunt.
Donnie Charles Green, 75, of Howe died Saturday, Jan. 19, 2013, in Howe. He was born July 22, 1937, at Montague County, Texas, to James Ivy and Mary Pearl (Houk) Green. He was a truck driver.
He was preceded in death by his parents, four brothers and two sisters.
