Christmas break has been awesome around the Midgley household. I got to spend a few days camping and hunting, then the rest of the break with my family.
First we took the boys to Branson, Mo., for a few days. They got to experience the Dixie Stampede and the Chinese Acrobats, along with the beauty of Branson at Christmas.
We are planning a trip in the spring or summer so they can go to Silver Dollar City when it is not so cold. They are pumped about it, too.

Sunday Couple Scrambles at Wolf Ridge Golf Course will take place at 2 p.m. Sundays.
The entry fee is $15 per person for the nine-hole weekly event.

The Poteau Lady Pirates Dugout Club is selling personalized bricks to be placed in the backstop at the Poteau High School softball field as a tribute to players, fans, coaches, area businesses, etc.
