No. 4 Thackerville too much for Bokoshe

BOKOSHE — A rough start for the Bokoshe Tigers spelled doom for them Thursday night at home as they lost 54-8 to Class C's fourth-ranked Thackerville Wildcats.
The Tigers turned the ball over the first two times they possessed it, and all of the sudden the Wildcats were up 22-0.

Pocola Indians fall to Hartshorne

POCOLA — It was a rough Thursday night for the Pocola Indians football team which dropped a 55-29 District 2A-6 contest to the visiting Hartshorne Miners at John Carter Field.
The Indians tied the game at 7 all and cut the deficit to 21-14 in the first half before falling behind 28-14 at halftime.

Commandos knock wind out of Pirates' sails Thursday night

Two very talented teams met on the field Thursday night at Costner Stadium. The main difference in the two teams was the Tulsa Cascia Hall Commandos have won numerous state championships and only had their 56-game regular-season win streak broken two weeks ago. The Commandos know how to win. The Pirates are still trying to get all their ducks in a row and figure out how to win games in the same fashion.

Spiro handles Heavener in 3A-8 county contest

October 18, 2013

Spiro controlled in-county rival Heavener on Thursday night 35-7 in a District 3A-8 contest at Harvey Stadium to spoil the Wolves' homecoming.
The Bulldogs (6-1 overall, 4-0 in district play), winners of five straight, mounted several long scoring drives, claiming a touchdown in each of the first three quarters and two in the final period.
