November 15, 2013

For the first time in four seasons, there's going to be an 11th game for the Poteau Pirates football team.
The Pirates (9-1) will entertain the Cleveland Tigers (5-5) at 7:30 p.m. Friday at Costner Stadium.
The Pirates sealed up a home playoff game in last week's 44-14 road win over the Tulsa Rogers Ropers at S.E. Williams Stadium in Tulsa.

None of that happened as the ’Cats won 43-28, and knocked the Bulldogs into the No. 3 seed — and a road playoff game at 7:30 tonight against the Hilldale Hornets in Muskogee.
