TYLER, Texas â The Carl Albert State College baseball team went 1-2 on its weekend road series against Tyler Junior College.
The Vikings won the opener 7-3 on Friday night, but dropped both games of Saturdayâs doubleheader 3-2 and 4-1.
The Vikings will entertain the University of the Ozarks junior varsity for a doubleheader beginning at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday at Ival Goodman Field.
OKLAHOMA CITY â The Oklahoma City Thunder hasn't exactly picked up the pace in the second half of the season, losing three straight around the All-Star break before finally knocking off the Minnesota Timberwolves on Friday night at Chesapeake Energy Arena to get back on the winning track.
The win at home over Minnesota was the first of three straight within the friendly confines of Chesapeake Energy Arena, the longest home streak left in the season.
Lake Wister and Talimena state parks have joined to promote a heart healthy hiking program this year.
A hike will take place each month, alternating between the two state parks.
The next hike will take place at Lake Wister State Park's Wards Landing Campground on March 9.
All hikes will begin at 1 p.m. Bottled water will be provided at each month's hike.

Pat Tackett, 78, of Bokoshe died Sunday, Feb. 24, 2013. in Fort Smith, Ark.
According to the Poteau Police Department, a gold minivan was attempting to cross South Broadway from Conser Street when it collided with a white SUV traveling south on Broadway.
The collision caused the white SUV to spin around and turn over, coming to rest on it's top.
No one was injured in the accident.
Traffic was detoured onto South McKenna and Church Street during the investigation and removal of the damaged vehicles.

Edwards' statement was made after a Poteau man allegedly opened fire, killing two hounds trained to track raccoon. A third coon dog was injured in the shooting.
Douglas Slade Frerich, 42, of Poteau was booked into the LeFlore County Detention Center on three counts of felony animal cruelty after the Friday night shooting.
MUSKOGEE â The Heavener Wolves basketball team saw its season come to an end with a 46-40 loss Monday afternoon to the Westville Yellowjackets in the consolation finals of the Class 3A Regional Tournament at the Muskogee Civic Center.
The Wolves, who end the season at 18-9, opened the regional tournament with a 58-42 loss to the Kansas Comets on Friday night, but bounced back with a thrilling 50-49 overtime win over the Vian Wolverines on Saturday afternoon.
CROWDER â It was a rough weekend for the Howe High School basketball teams at the Class 2A Regional Tournament.
KINGSTON â The good news for the Whitesboro Bulldogs is they were three wins from the Class B State Tournament when they took the court in the area tournament consolation quarterfinals Thursday night against the Bennington Bears.
The bad news was that was as close to state as they got as a strong fourth quarter propelled the Bears to a 36-31 win over the âDogs, who ended their season at 20-10.
