A traveling monument memorializing fallen veterans will be coming to an area near you this week.
The American Veterans Traveling Tribute wall will receive an honor escort from Old Fort Harley Davidson in Fort Smith, Ark., as it makes its way to Roye Park in Stigler on Wednesday. â€¨The honor escort is open to all riders and vehicles. Staging will be at 3:30 at Fort Smith and the procession will travel down U.S. Highway 271 /Oklahoma highway 9, through Pocola and Spiro, to the Haskell County destination.
The wall will be on display June 20-23.
WAURIKA (AP) â€” Authorities in southern Oklahoma are searching for a boy who went missing while camping near Waurika Lake.
Authorities say the boy disappeared Saturday night near the Kiowa Park One campsite at Waurika Lake. Lawton television station KSWO reports that authorities are searching the lake in case the boy drowned.
Authorities say the boy is between the ages of 10 and 12 and is from Roff.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is handling the investigation but has released few details about what may have happened.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) â€” The Oklahoma Medical Examiner's Office has confirmed a 21st fatality from the May 31 tornadoes and flash floods.
The office said Monday that the body of 34-year-old Yolanda Sarat-Santos was recovered over the weekend. Officials confirmed her identity Monday.
A cause of death has not yet been determined.
Sarat-Santos was among 47 people killed by storms in central Oklahoma in May.
Two people died on May 19 and 24 people were killed on May 20.
For three LeFlore County high school softball seniors, there will be one more fast-pitch game in their careers.
Poteauâ€™s Shelby Standridge and Brenna Vise, along with Panamaâ€™s Taylor Eaves, will play in the 2013 Oklahoma Fast-Pitch Softball Coaches Association All-State Games Saturday at Marita Hynes Field at the University of Oklahoma Softball Complex in Norman.
