TULSA (AP) — Authorities say a man has been arrested after crashing his car through a fence at Tulsa International Airport.
Police say the incident began late Monday when an officer noticed a stolen vehicle at a nearby motel. Tulsa television station KTUL reports (http://bit.ly/ZqvxOs ) a man saw the police officer in the motel parking lot, jumped in the car and sped away.
Authorities say the pursuit ended when the man crashed the car into a fence near the south end of the airport. He was arrested shortly after the crash.
Girl Scout Troop 4408 from Monroe helped Mercy Fort Smith co-workers in gathering and sorting out donations for the Tornado Relief Drive for Moore last Friday, May 24th. They would like to thank Ms. Cristelyn of Mercy Hospital for giving them a chance to volunteer.

Theron Doyle “Flub†Denny, 79, of Hoyt died Saturday, May 25, 2013. Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 28, at Sandridge Pentecostal Church. Burial will be at Brooken Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Stigler.
Ronnie Vern Bastress, 69, of Poteau died Thursday, May 23, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Ronnie was born Oct. 22, 1943, in Buena Park, Calif. to Robert and Dolly (Shewe) Hardman. She was a legal secretary and a psychiatric technician. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Americans gathered at memorials, museums and monuments and the president laid a wreath at Arlington National Cemetery to honor fallen service members on Memorial Day, as combat in Afghanistan approaches 12 years and the ranks of World War II veterans dwindle.
"Let us not forget as we gather here today that our nation is still at war," President Barack Obama said after laying a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknowns.

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (AP) — The Navajo Code Talkers are legendary. Then there was Cpl. Ira Hamilton Hayes, the Pima Indian who became a symbol of courage and patriotism when he and his fellow Marines raised the flag over Iwo Jima in 1945.
Before World War II and in the decades since, tens of thousands of American Indians have enlisted in the Armed Forces to serve their country at a rate much greater than any other ethnicity.
Yet, among all the monuments and statues along the National Mall in Washington, D.C., not one stands in recognition.
TEXARKANA, Ark. (AP) — Officials say jailed evangelist Tony Alamo (uh-LAH'-moh) has been moved from a federal prison in Marion, Ill., to a Bureau of Prisons Transfer Facility in Oklahoma City.
Alamo is serving a 175-year sentence after he was convicted in Arkansas for taking minor girls across state lines for sex.
The Texarkana Gazette reports Alamo has been housed in several prisons since his 2009 sentencing. According to an affidavit filed by an FBI agent, investigators allege that Alamo is still controlling his ministry from behind bars.
Saylor Slone, 15, of Spiro, died Sunday afternoon in what authorities say was an accidental shooting.
The shooting occurred at her home on Tucker Road north of Spiro, according to LeFlore County Undersheriff Kendall Morgan.
Saylor suffered a gunshot wound to the head from a .380-caliber Ruger pistol, which her mother bought recently for personal protection, Morgan said.
LeFlore County sheriff's deputies, EMS, Spiro first responders and Tulsa Life Flight responded. She was flown to St. Francis Children's Hospital in Tulsa, where she was pronounced dead.

The General Store on Witte will hold a clothing giveaway from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Friday, May 31, at 104 N. Witte St.
Sizes range from children's to adult, according to owner Darleen Seaman.
Seaman said she started accepting donations for the giveaway last week and "we got an enormous amount — which is what we wanted." She will accept additional donations beginning Wednesday, she said.
Poteau Main Street Matters is providing tables for the event.
A similar giveaway in April "was an amazing blessing," Seaman said.
Oklahoma anglers can fish for free during Free Fishing Days June 1-2. During these days, a state fishing license will not be required for anglers to go fishing in Oklahoma, whereas in most other cases a license is required. Additionally, an Oklahoma City fishing permit will not be required for fishing those waters where the permit is normally mandatory.
