December 17, 2013

I was not even born when the Poteau Pirates lost the Class B title game to Fairview in 1946. I was 2 years old when the Pirates were defeated by Sayre in 1950 Class B title game.

The Pirates played for their first state football title in 63 years Saturday at OSU against the top-ranked Anadarko Warriors.

"Our Family Christmas: Rooms for Rent," is a non-traditional church Christmas play. Although it is set during Christmas and includes a Christmas “message,” the play focuses primarily on modern, “real life” family issues, which include both moments of hilarity and sobering dysfunction.
