EUFAULA (AP) — Officials say a worker who was injured in a May 7 explosion at a sandblasting plant has died.
A spokeswoman for Alexander Burn Center at Hillcrest Medical Center in Tulsa says 40-year-old Donald Hamilton Jr. died Sunday from injuries suffered in the blast.
Hamilton and another worker were burned in the explosion at the Ford Sandblasting plant near Eufaula. Plant owner Mike Ford tells the Tulsa World that the blast and subsequent fire were caused by a "flash explosion."
Ford says the plant employed five people and they don't yet know whether it will reopen.

NORMAN — Three LeFlore County graduating softball players got to play one last high school fast-pitch game on Saturday at the 2013 Oklahoma Fast-Pitch Softball Coaches Association All-State Game at Marita Hynes Field at the University of Oklahoma Softball Complex.
Poteau's Shelby Standridge and Brenna Vise, who played on the Middle East team, got the honor of having their coach, Misty Collins, coach them one last time as Collins and Valliant's Tommy Howard coached the Middle East, which lost 4-1 to the Middle West.

Johnny Lee Rodgers Sr., 74, of Keota died Friday, June 7, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, at Victory Worship Center under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro.
A traveling monument memorializing fallen veterans will be coming to an area near you this week.
The American Veterans Traveling Tribute wall will receive an honor escort from Old Fort Harley Davidson in Fort Smith, Ark., as it makes its way to Roye Park in Stigler on Wednesday. 
The honor escort is open to all riders and vehicles. Staging will be at 3:30 at Fort Smith and the procession will travel down U.S. Highway 271 /Oklahoma highway 9, through Pocola and Spiro, to the Haskell County destination.
The wall will be on display June 20-23.
WAURIKA (AP) — Authorities in southern Oklahoma are searching for a boy who went missing while camping near Waurika Lake.
Authorities say the boy disappeared Saturday night near the Kiowa Park One campsite at Waurika Lake. Lawton television station KSWO reports that authorities are searching the lake in case the boy drowned.
Authorities say the boy is between the ages of 10 and 12 and is from Roff.
The Oklahoma Highway Patrol is handling the investigation but has released few details about what may have happened.
