LIVE UPDATE: All county schools closed due to weather

Many LeFlore County schools will be closed Monday as a winter weather storm continues to impact the area.
LeFLore County Public Schools reporting Monday closures by 10:00 p.m. Sunday night include:
Arkoma
Bokoshe
Cameron
Carl Albert State College
Fanshawe
Heavener
Hodgen
Howe
Kiamichi Technology Center - Poteau,Spiro and Talihina campuses.
Leflore
Monroe
Panama
Pocola
Poteau
Shady Point
Spiro
Talihina
Whitesboro
Wister

CASC baseball team opens season Monday afternoon at Bacone JV

February 2, 2014

The Carl Albert State College baseball team will begin its 2014 season at noon Monday in a road doubleheader against the Bacone College junior varsity in Muskogee.
“We're ready,” CASC coach Mark Pollard said. “Every year is new and special. This is my 32nd [as CASC head coach] and 35th overall, and each one of them is special. We're excited about it [starting the season].
