The Talihina Golden Tigers scored six touchdowns in their first 29 plays in last Thursday nightâ€™s scrimmage at Valliant, and 13 TDs overall. However, tonight will be a tougher test when they scrimmage against the Hartshorne Miners and the Morris Eagles at 6:30 tonight in Hartshorne.
The good news for the Bokoshe Tigers so far this preseason is that they havenâ€™t scrimmaged anybody yet.
That will all change tonight when the Tigers get their one and only scrimmage of the preseason when they travel to meet the Keota Lions and the Depew Hornets at 6 p.m. in Keota.
The Poteau Pirates will have one last chance to take care of the chinks in the armor before meeting the Durant Lions in the Sept. 4 season-opener. That chance will come at 5 p.m. Thursday in a four-way scrimmage at the home of the Class 4A defending champion Wagoner Bulldogs. The Hilldale Hornets and the Tahlequah Tigers will also be in the scrimmage.

HEAVENER â€” Sydney Crase's RBI single in the sixth inning scoring Kacee Manley broke a 4-all tie as the Heavener Lady Wolves rallied past the Poteau Lady Pirates 5-4 Monday afternoon.
Spiro 4, Pocola 3; Spiro 4, Stilwell 2; Pocola 7, Stilwell 3: In Spiro, the Lady Bulldogs won both games of their home three-way Monday afternoon, while Pocola's girls won their battle of Lady Bulldogs with Stilwell.
Howe 9, Arkoma 2: In Arkoma, the Lady Lions rallied from a 2-0 first-inning deficit with a single run in the third, two runs in the fourth, a single run in the fifth and five runs in the seventh.
CAMERON â€” Whitesboro pitcher Bronco Harjo pitched a two-hitter and struck out four batters as the Bulldogs blanked the Cameron Yellowjackets 10-0 Monday afternoon. It was his first win this season.

Oktaha 11, Leflore 0: Oktaha pitcher Brock Rodden threw a five-inning complete game with six strikeouts and scattering four hits.
CLAREMORE â€” The Poteau Lady Pirates suffered a pair of losses Friday in the Rogers State College Classic, falling 6-3 to Sand Springs and 7-2 to Muskogee.
Cameron 7, Arkoma 2: In Cameron, the Lady Yellowjackets rallied from a 2-0 first-inning deficit with a four-run third inning to take the lead for good at 4-2 after three innings.
Leflore 12, Indianola 2: In Leflore, the Lady Savages jumped out to a 2-0 lead after an inning, which became a 6-0 advantage by the end of two.
