WILBURTON â The Pocola Lady Indians got a pair of wins Friday in the Robbers Cave Shootout, beating Hartshorne 9-2 and blanking McAlester 5-0.
The final day of action in the event for both the Lady Indians and the Howe Lady Lions was rained out, with no make-up date set.
SHAWNEE â The Heavener Lady Wolves won both of their games Friday in the Hall of Fame Shootout, blanking Elgin 7-0 and McLoud 16-0 at the Ballfield at Firelake.
The Spiro Lady Bulldogs played on both days, splitting Friday's games â beating Cache 6-3 but losing to Bethel 9-3 â before winning twice on Saturday, over McLoud 9-1 and Grove 7-5.

MUSKOGEE â Poteau Lady Pirates cross country runner Kandace Standridge was runner-up in Saturday morningâs Bacone College Invitational. She ran the 5,000-meter course in a time of 19:45.
BOSWELL â Whitesboro pitcher Ethan Adams threw a three-inning perfect game as the Bulldogs routed the Achille Eagles 15-0 as part of a three-way Friday afternoon.
However, Whitesboro coach Bryan Cartwright's team got handled by his brother Alan's team from Boswell as the Scorpions got a no-hitter from their pitcher against the âDogs in a 12-0 victory.
When new Poteau football coach Forrest Mazey came on board last spring, he was well aware of the rushing expertise of senior Roger Barcheers, but he also knew that the Pirates were loaded and deep at all the skill positions. He introduced the Pirates to a full-blown no-huddle speed offense. What was learned at the abbreviated scrimmage Friday night against the Heavener Wolves at Harvey Stadium was that even though the offensive schemes are still in its infancy, Poteauâs opponents must be ready for the Pirates moving the ball.
The Pocola Indians entertained the Gore Pirates on Friday nightÂ at John Carter Field in their first scrimmage of the 2015 football season. The Indians scored three times, while holding the Pirates out of the end zone for the entire contest.
PANAMA â New Panama football coach Jeff Broyles liked most of what he saw in his Razorbacksâ home scrimmage against Savanna on Friday night at George Ollie Stadium.
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) â The former wife of billionaire Oklahoma energy tycoon Harold Hamm, who was awarded nearly $1 billion in a divorce settlement, is now suing Hamm over the sale of a company the two co-owned.
The lawsuit by Sue Ann Arnall alleges the $4.5 million sale in 2005 of the parent company and sole shareholder of Jolette Oil LLC to Continental Resources was below market value. It asks for damages in excess of $10,000.
