Things look favorable for a Senior Night win for Poteau on Friday

October 29, 2012

The Poteau Pirates will have their Senior Night at 7:30 p.m. Friday against the Tulsa Rogers Ropers.
The Ropers were at one time one of the better schools in the state, and I understand that they won several state championships along the way. However, somewhere along the way something happened, and they completely stopped playing football.

Now, come next Friday night high school football will be over for those teams who don't make the playoffs.
