Sandra J. Soprito, 62, of Heavener died Nov. 29, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. Sandra was born Feb. 1, 1950, in Long Beach, Calif., to Francis and Margaret (Woods) Cravey. She was preceded in death by her father and a sister, Patti Schwietzer.
Survivors include her mother, Margaret Cravey of Monroe; daughter and son-in-law, Deanna and Keith Harris of Naples, Fla.; grandsons, Caleb and Christian Davis; brother and sister-in-law, Roger and Cathy Cravey of Fort Smith; numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, other relatives and loved ones.
Private family services will be held.
The Ran Ricks, Jr. Award for leading owner went to Danny Caldwell of Poteau who visited the winnerâ€™s circle 21 times. This is his third consecutive leading owner title and his fourth since 2008.
Caldwell runs an operation that is strong in the claiming department, often purchasing runners out of races then immediately moving them up in class while gaining victory. He claimed Fifth Date, an 8-year-old Oklahoma-bred for $18,000 on Aug. 25, then won the $156,000 Oklahoma Classics Cup just two starts later with the gelding.
Sunday Couple Scrambles at Wolf Ridge Golf Course will take place at 2 p.m. Sundays. The entry fee is $15 per person for the nine-hole weekly event.

The 2012 PIT Camp 3-on-3 Winter Classic basketball tournament will take place Dec. 29 at the Wister High School Gymnasium.
The entry fee is $10 per player, with no team having more than four players.
ARKOMA â€” It was a historic late afternoon and night on Monday at the Arkoma Gym as the first-ever Green Valley Conference Tournament got underway.
The host Lady Mustangs and the Panama Lady Razorbacks, along with the Keota Lady Lions, got the first wins of the newly-formed event.
Arkoma held off a fourth-quarter furious rally by the Wister Lady Wildcats to win 58-55, while Panama beat the Cameron Lady Yellowjackets for the second time in three days in a 35-22 victory. Keota knocked off McCurtain 70-58 as the Howe Lady Lions received a first-round bye.

HEAVENER â€” The Heavener High School basketball teams will enter this weekend's Wilburton Tournament by splitting home games with the tournament's host teams.
The Wolves kept their record perfect on the young season with a 48-43 win over the Diggers, but the Lady Diggers were too much for the Lady Wolves as they posted a 64-41 road victory.
