Authorities in Elm City Texas have issued a Amber Alert for a missing Child.
The LeFlore County Historical Society will have their Fantasy Forest unveiling and auction tonight at 5:30 at the Lowery Hotel. Businesses decorated the trees and the proceeds from their sale will benefit the continued reconstruction of the hotel.
Jeffery Dale Bingley, who was charged with child sexual abuse and possession of child pornography in January 2010, is scheduled to appear in district court this afternoon on a motion to suppress filed by Defense Attorney Gary Buckles.
On the heals of the motion, Buckles also filed a second motion to require the state, represented by Assistant District Attorney Margaret Nicholson, to further analyze evidence in the case against his client.
Bingley is scheduled to appear in court at 1:30 for the motion to suppress.
The Pocola Board of trustees held a special meeting tonight to hire for two vancancies within the city. After more than two hours behind closed doors in executive session the trustees decided to take a recess until next Tuesday night before making any decisions regarding a new police chief and a new street department employee.
