Marty Ray Hester, 52, of Hodgen, is scheduled to appear in District Court November 8, at 9 a.m. for sounding docket.
Hester was formally charged on October 18, with aggravated possession of child pornography and two counts of lewd and indecent acts to a child under the age of 16 stemming from an incident that allegedly occurred at his business, Computer Helper, in Poteau.
The discovery of the child pornography occurred after computers, software and surveillance equipment were seized from his business after two juvenile females made accusations of sexual assault.

More than 700 students from around the state converge in Poteau this morning for the State Junior High School Student Council convention. This is the second time that Poteau was chosen to be the host site for the convention. (2008 it was held here as well). The students will spend today attending break out learning sessions and fun events designed to make them better leaders for tomorrow. They will cap off the convention with a dinner and awards banquet tonight at the new Donald W. Reynolds Community Center.
