LeFlore County Deputies investigate animal cruelty

The LeFlore County Sheriff's Department is currently investigating an animal cruelty case near Smithville after they received a report in reference to several starving or deceased animals.
Albert McReynolds, 66, and William McReynolds, 18, are currently being held at the LeFlore County Detention Center on charges of animal cruelty.
According to Sheriff Bruce Curnutt, a deputy was dispatched to the McReynolds home Tuesday evening after a call was received about abuse of animals at the residence.
