Rodgers and Hammerstein’s “The King and I” will open at Carl Albert State College at 7 p.m Thursday.
Additional performances are scheduled for 7 p.m. Friday, 2 p.m. Sunday, and 7 p.m. Monday.
Tickets will be available at the doors of the Hamilton Auditorium. Adult admission is $7, students $5, and all CASC students and employees attend for free.
The musical is under the direction and choreography of Bill Day and Dana Dinsmore-Davis, with Bill King on piano. Â
A Talihina youth charged in the death of a 13-year-old has entered a plea of guilty.
Brandon Brown, 16, of Talihina, was accused of driving under the influence and having an accident which resulted in the death of Dalton Adams,13, of Talihina in 2011.
Brown appeared before District Judge Jon Sullivan Thursday and entered a plea of guilty. He will be sentenced in November.
