November 30th
The public was invited to view the new facility recently completed that houses the LeFlore County Youth Services administrative offices and emergency youth shelter.
The open house was held Friday from 1 p.m. until 4 p.m.
The 2012 Gold Dust Gala, an annual event hosted by the Carl Albert Development Foundation, was held Thursday evening.
A silent auction began at 5:30 p.m. followed by dinner. The event concluded with a live auction in which proceeds are used toward CASC development.

Two vehicles collided north of Poteau on Oklahoma Highway 112 Friday morning.
Witnesses say a white truck struck the rear of a four door grey car then left the roadway coming to a stop in a field.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol is investigating the accident.
No injuries were reported.

Area business owner, William Joseph LeRoux Jr., 47, of Hodgen, was scheduled to appear in LeFlore County District Court today as part of the conditions for being released on a fugitive bail. The bail was set after LeRoux was arrested on a grand jury indictment from Maricopa County Arizona for 12 counts of sexual misconduct with a minor. LeRoux refused to sign extradition to return to Arizona in October and was released on a fugitive bond while Arizona obtained a governor's warrant.
