Suspects sought in Heavener armed robbery

April 13, 2012

A local business is recovering after armed assailants
assaulted the clerk and robbed them Wednesday morning.
According to Heavener Assistant Chief of Police
Lester English, three people entered the Selecito Market
Wednesday at approximately 9:45 a.m. wearing face
masks, brandishing handguns and demanding money
from the clerk. The men then fled the scene with an
undisclosed amount of cash.
The store had a functioning surveillance system
which recorded the robbery and police have since
reviewed the footage in attempts to identify the suspects.
