Hester waives rights to preliminary hearing

A man accused of possessing child pornography appeared in District Court Thursday morning as proceedings continue.
Marty Hester, 52, of Hodgen, appeared before Special Judge Jeff Singer with his defense attorney Rob Cowan present. Hester, who was arrested in October, appeared for his preliminary hearing. After consulting with his attorney, Hester signed a waiver declining his rights to a preliminary hearing and was set for District Court Arraignment on May 30.
