For the past 39 years, LeFlore County Youth Services, Inc. has gathered donations and money from fundraisers in hopes of building a debt free facility that houses the emergency shelter along with administrative offices.
They raised $368,026 and began construction but fell short of the total cost for completion. The organization is now in need of raising the additional $469,024 to avoid paying on the facility for the next 20 years.
