One person received minor injuries in a one vehicle accident in Poteau Thursday afternoon.
Police and Emergency Medical Services responded to the call of a one vehicle accident on Waddle Street behind the Choctaw Travel Plaza.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
Johnathen Don James Edward Thacker, 23, of Fort Smith, Ark., appeared in front of Special Judge Jeff Singer today for preliminary hearing for first degree murder.
Thacker is accused of taking part in the murder of Braina Ault on Sept.12, 2010. Ault was 22-years-old at the time of her death.
Thacker and his brother, Elvis Thacker, have been charged with first degree murder and forcible sodomy in connection with Ault's death.
The Parents of Autism meeting scheduled for tonight at Carl Albert State College in Poteau has been canceled.
Kodey Toney, a representative of the group, said the club will reschedule the Partners in Policymaking program.
