The cost of correspondence is again on the rise after the United States Postal Service announced a 3-cent hike on the price of stamps.
According to the Postal Service, on Monday the price of first-class mail stamps will increase from 46 cents to 49 cents.
Forever stamps will remain a viable postage at their original purchase price and will be accepted as the only necessary form of postage for first-class mail weighing 3 ounces or less, according to the service's website.
