High speed pursuit ends in crash, 1 arrest

Poteau Police put the brakes on speedster Timothy John Kaczynski, 24, of Poteau after he allegedly led them on more than a 30-minute chase.
Reaching speeds up to 90-miles per hour that continued through residential streets, Kaczynski led police through the north end of Poteau until he struck a tree and fled on foot, according to the police report.
Police said he was later found hiding behind a trash dumpster near the accident and was arrested.

Topics included defense cuts, proposed amendments to the coal industry, water resources, federal deficit, budget and debt limit as well as transportation and infrastructure issues.
