OKLAHOMA CITY â€“ In a letter (attached) to President Barack Obama, Oklahoma Gov. Mary Fallin today called on the president to end the â€śsecrecyâ€ť surrounding the use of military facilities around the country to hold illegal immigrant minors. One of those facilities, Fort Sill, is located in Oklahoma.
Fallin called on Obama to formally confirm and explain reports that run contrary to the messages his administration has sent to the public. In her letter, Fallin wrote that:

Poteau Police will be selling 250 chances to win an AR-15 .223 caliber rifle. Chances are $20 each and the drawing will occur after all chances are purchased.
Proceeds will go to help Asst. Chief of Police Greg Russell and his wife Heather, who recently suffered a stroke, with medical expenses.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) â€” A Salt Lake City attorney is arguing in a lawsuit that the FBI has video of the Oklahoma City bombing that shows a second person was involved.
The case is at the heart of Jesse Trentadue's quest to explain his brother's mysterious jail cell death 19 years ago, which has rekindled long-dormant questions about whether others were involved in the deadly 1995 blast.

OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) â€” Oklahoma prison officials say an inmate who walked away from a minimum security facility in Granite has been captured in Texas.
Oklahoma Department of Corrections spokeswoman Terri Watkins says 26-year-old Aaron Kelsey was arrested without incident Friday afternoon at an acquaintance's house in Denison, Texas.
Kelsey was discovered missing Wednesday during a 6 p.m. head count at a minimum security facility at the Oklahoma State Reformatory in Granite. Watkins said Kelsey "basically walked away."
Car destroyed by fire in Poteau
Fire and police responded to a car on fire at the Cavanal Scenic Expressway northbound exit and North Broadway Friday about 4 p.m.
No one was injured but traffic was detoured until the fire was extenguished.

DURANT, Okla. â€“ Recently, two forestry team members returned from a 16-day stent in Arizona battling an intense fire on Apache lands. Prevention tech Joshua Bates and Wallace Kitchel, dozer operator, were dispatched to the fire due to the need for special fire fighting techniques.
