Ruby L. Ray, 85, of Poteau died
Wednesday, Oct. 26, 2011, in Poteau. She
was born Jan. 11, 1926, in Cauthron, Ark,
to James David and Minnie Emma Lee
(Holmes) Stuart. She was a loving mother,
grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and

her husband, Burlen Ray; and brother and sister-inlaw,
J.B. and Florence Stuart.
Ruby is survived by a son and daughter-in-law, Ricky
Joe Latta and wife Pam of Poteau; two grandchildren,
Jennifer Jo Lokken and Jessie Green; a great-grandchild,
Sydney Watson; nieces, Linda and Theo Johnson of
James Dearld Graham, 26, of Heavener
died Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2011, in Poteau.
James was born Feb. 12, 1985, in Fort Smith,
Ark., to James Gearld and Sherry Sue (White)
Graham. James was an auto detailer. He was
preceded in death by his grandmother, Agnes
M. Graham; stepmother, Paula J. Graham,
grandfather, Neal White; great-grandparents,
Rubin and Polly White; grandparents, Elba and Henry T.
Rogers; and stepfather, Alan McCullough.
Survivors include his mother, Sherry McCullough of
Summerfield; father, James Graham of Heavener; eight
Frank Dee Gist, 78, of Spiro died Monday, Oct. 24,
2011. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 28, at
Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro. Burial will be in
Cowlington Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-
Martin Funeral Home.
Terry Lee Brown, 41, of Cameron died Saturday, Oct.
22, 2011, in Cameron. Services will be at 7 p.m. Thursday,
Oct. 27, at Evans Memorial Chapel in Pocola under the
direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
Imogene Webb Garrett, 96, passed away
Monday, Oct. 24, 2011. at her residence in
Hawley, Texas. Graveside services will be
held at 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 29, at Spiro
City Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-7
p.m. Thursday at Elliott-Hamil Funeral
Home, Abilene, Texas.
Imogene was born Aug. 20, 1915, in
Spiro to Lee and Nanna Webb. She grew
up in Webb Town and graduated from Spiro High School
where she was the high scorer on the basketball team.
Imogene graduated from college in Durant. She interviewed
with Ulyss Garrett for a teaching position. She got
Zada Robbins, 79, died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011 at
Mrs. Robbins was born on Aug. 11, 1932, at Bengal to
William H. and Grace L. (Fowler) Johnson.
She was a homemaker and had also worked in the
finance world. She was a 4-foot-11 inch repo Mom. She
held a Certificate of Biblical Studies from Billy Graham.
She was a past member of the Eastern Star.
Survivors include two daughters, Havana Shuler and
husband Thomas, and Angela McWilliams and husband
Dennis of Salina, six grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
A graveside service was held Monday at Roselawn
Harriet Fallon Kearns Coleman, 95, of
Summerfield died Friday, Oct. 21, 2011, in
Grand Rapids, Mich. Harriet was born
Feb. 11, 1916, in Francis to James Hiram
and Bessie Idell (Fallon) Kearns. She was
the youngest of four girls. Her sisters,
Nellie Idell, Grace Elizabeth, and Ruth
Eleanor, all are deceased. Harriet graduated
from East Central State University in Ada in 1937,
then from the University of Oklahoma in Norman in
She taught school in Ada for four years, Leflore for 11
years and Talihina for 15 years. She was married for 37
Mable Heath Bullard, 86, formerly of Heavener died
Saturday, Oct. 22, in Tyler, Texas. Services are planned for
10 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Trinity Baptist Church in
Heavener. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery
under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
Harriett June Williams, 88, of Cameron died Saturday,
Oct. 22, 2011, in Poteau. No services are scheduled at this
time. Arrangements are under the direction of Evans and
Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Paul V. Rodgers, 59, of Keota died Saturday, Oct. 22,
2011. Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday,
Oct. 25, at New Hope Cemetery under the direction of
Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro.
