Jerry D. Hickman, 68, of Talihina died Wednesday, Oct.
19, 2011, at his home. Graveside services will be held at 2
p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 25, 2 p.m. at the New Talihina
Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
Tammy Lou Bowers, 48, of Panama
died Thursday, Oct. 20, 2011, in Fort
Smith, Ark. Tammy was born Aug. 12,
1963, in El Paso, Texas, to Paul and
Audrey Opal (Eatmon) Bowers. She was
employed at the Panama Tote-A-Poke. She
was preceded in death by her father; sister,
Julie Emmert; and her grandparents, John
and Annie Dell Eatmon.
Survivors include her daughter, Emily Tedder of the
home; loving companion, Richie Tedder of Panama;
mother, Audrey Opal Bowers of Buck Creek; three sisters,
Ginger Esparza of Las Cruces, N.M., Pam Paul of Hackett,

Mary Jean Rogers, 62, of Spiro died Thursday, Oct. 20.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Victory
Worship Center under the direction of Mallory-Martin
Funeral Home, Spiro.
Douglas Leroy Cooper, 85, of Cooper,
Texas, died Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, at
Clyde Cosper Veterans Home in Bonham,
Texas. A graveside service will be held at
2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Vaughn
Cemetery in Gilmore. Visitation will be
from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Coker-Mathews
Funeral Home in Greenville, Texas.
Born April 29, 1926, in Monroe, Douglas
was the son of Bernnie Lee and Nora Dell (Bolton)
Cooper. On April 10, 1949, he married Betty Jo Callaway
in Mena, Ark. He served in the U. S. Army during World
War II. He was a retired Pentecostal Church of God minister

died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Fort Smith,
Ark. A private family service is planned

Kathryn Sue Patterson of Poteau died
Tuesday, Oct. 18, 2011, in Poteau. A private
family service will be held at Monroe
Cemetery under the direction of Evans and
Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Willow Lucille Jenson, died Oct. 18, 2011. She was
born in Kennedy.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wayne
Edward Jenson; two daughters, Connie and Diane Jenson;
two grandsons, Jenson Blake Isham and Cory Shawn
Porter; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Porter and
Wade Jenson Isham; one brother, Richard Baldwin; and
one sister, Pat Lynch of Wister. She was preceded in death
by her parents, Dollie and Bob Baldwin, and two brothers,
Pheland and Iree Baldwin.
A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery
at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in Poteau.
Mildred Nadine (Butler) Price, 87, Lake
Worth, Fla., (formerly of Poteau) died Oct.
14, 2011, in Florida. Mildred was born in
Poteau on Aug. 10, 1924, and graduated
from Poteau High School in 1942.
She is survived by her husband, Jim
Price; sons, Jeff and Chris Price; sisters,
Irene Bennett, Bettye Greene, Kate Cooper;
and brother, Billy Earl Butler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Vaughn
Cemetery, Gilmore.

14, 2011, in Hodgen. Graveside services will be held at 4

Daniel Levi Drummonds, 25, of Keota
died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, near Keota. He
was born May 26, 1986, in Fort Smith,
Ark., to Dan and Patricia Sandlin
Drummonds.
He is survived by his wife, Falecia of
the home; children, Diesel Drummonds
and Danielle Drummonds of the home;
parents, Dan and Patricia Drummonds of
Keota; two sisters, Dara Ward of Keota and Tiffany Real
and husband, Travis, of Panama; grandparents, Levi and
