October 20th
Willow Lucille Jenson, died Oct. 18, 2011. She was
born in Kennedy.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Wayne
Edward Jenson; two daughters, Connie and Diane Jenson;
two grandsons, Jenson Blake Isham and Cory Shawn
Porter; two great-grandchildren, Alexander Porter and
Wade Jenson Isham; one brother, Richard Baldwin; and
one sister, Pat Lynch of Wister. She was preceded in death
by her parents, Dollie and Bob Baldwin, and two brothers,
Pheland and Iree Baldwin.
A graveside service will be held at Oakland Cemetery
at 10 a.m. Friday, Oct. 21, in Poteau.
Mildred Nadine (Butler) Price, 87, Lake
Worth, Fla., (formerly of Poteau) died Oct.
14, 2011, in Florida. Mildred was born in
Poteau on Aug. 10, 1924, and graduated
from Poteau High School in 1942.
She is survived by her husband, Jim
Price; sons, Jeff and Chris Price; sisters,
Irene Bennett, Bettye Greene, Kate Cooper;
and brother, Billy Earl Butler.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 22, at Vaughn
Cemetery, Gilmore.

April Lynne Gilgo, 35, of Shady Point died Friday, Oct.
14, 2011, in Hodgen. Graveside services will be held at 4
p.m. Friday, Oct. 21, at Shady Point Cemetery under the
direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Daniel Levi Drummonds, 25, of Keota
died Sunday, Oct. 16, 2011, near Keota. He
was born May 26, 1986, in Fort Smith,
Ark., to Dan and Patricia Sandlin
Drummonds.
He is survived by his wife, Falecia of
the home; children, Diesel Drummonds
and Danielle Drummonds of the home;
parents, Dan and Patricia Drummonds of
Keota; two sisters, Dara Ward of Keota and Tiffany Real
and husband, Travis, of Panama; grandparents, Levi and
Loustana Drummonds of Keota; mother-in-law, Shelly
Woods of Keota; sister-in-law, Mikayla Hale of Keota;

Julie Ann Molholt, 52, of Hodgen died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Muskogee. Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 19, at Page Church in the Page Community, under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
Phillip Leon Haley, 62, of Arkoma died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011, in Albuquerque, N.M. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Oct. 20, in Evans Chapel of Memories, Pocola. Burial will be in Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau
Iva Mae Smith, 74, died Saturday, Oct. 15, 2011.
She was born May 16,1937, near Rush Center, Kan., to
Calvin and Elma Kershner. She was preceded in death by
her parents, one brother, Aryln, and two sons, Craig and
Kyle.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Martin
Smith; one granddaughter, Jagan Smith; daughter-in-law,
Teresa Smith of Wister; one sister, Betty Bishop of
Oklahoma City; two brothers, Duane of Roca Blanc,
Mexico, and Steve of Bowling Green, Ohio.
She was a beautician and owned and operated her own
salon for 20 years. For 35 years she co-labored with her

Mondaine Catherine Fry, 56, of Poteau died Sept. 9,
2011, in Poteau. Memorial services will be held at 11 a.m.,
Tuesday, Oct. 18, at First Baptist Church, Poteau, under
the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.

Susan (Cantrell) Stewart, 70, of Stigler died Wednesday,
Oct. 12, 2011. Graveside services will be held at 2:30 p.m.
Tuesday, Oct. 18, at New Hope Cemetery, Spiro, under the
direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Stigler.

Russel Eugene Hunt,
94, of Poteau died Monday,
Oct. 10, 2011, in Poteau.
Russel was born Jan. 13,
1917, in Barkley, Kan., to
William and Bessie (Hauser)
Hunt. He was a truck driver.
Russel’s grandchildren
were very special to him
and he loved them all.
Grandson Zachary enjoyed
spending time with his
grandpa trying to beat him
at card games. Zachary
gave him his haircuts when
he was no longer able to go
to the barber.
Russel is survived by his
