Betty Cheatham, 84, of Talihina died Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Talihina. Graveside services will be at 10 a.m. Friday, March 23, at the New Talihina Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
Arvin Richardson, 84, of Whitesboro died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Spiro. Graveside services were held Tuesday, March 20, at Whitesboro Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
Ronnie Hollie, 68, of Bokoshe entered the Lord’s kingdom on March 19, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Ronnie was born October 18, 1943 in Henry, to Charles Cyril and Gladys Bernice (Cheshier) Hollie. He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Sharon Stiles and Linda Stark. Ronnie was a U.S. veteran, mechanic, chicken farmer and cattleman. He was a member of the Bokoshe Church of Christ.Â
Joe Boyd “J.B.” Hayes, 89, of Pocola died Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Pocola. Services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday, March 22, in Evans Memorial Chapel, Pocola. Burial will be in Spiro City Cemetery — Garden of Memories, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Pocola.
Tommy Fuller, 68, of Pocola died Friday, March 16, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 20, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. David Nolen officiating. Burial will be in Shady Point Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.Â
William Charles “Charlie” Phillips, 83, of Howe died Saturday, March 17, 2012, in Poteau. Charlie was born Feb. 27, 1929, in Poteau to Hansel J. and Marie (Hale) Phillips. Charlie was a self-employed businessman. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Hansel Phillips Jr.; and great-granddaughter, Kristen Lovell.
Paul Wesley Watkins, 83, of Poteau died Sunday, March 18, 2012, in Poteau. Paul was born Jan.
Olen Eugene Faulkenberry, 86, of Poteau went to be with his Heavenly Father on March 18, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark. He was born Feb. 5, 1926, at Monroe to Clarence and Arla Faulkenberry. Olen Eugene Faulkenberry married Evie Lorene Roberts on Feb. 5, 1944, at Midway. He was a decorated veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in WW II, and a retired insurance agent.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Dovie Midgley.
