Fred J. Kerksiek, 74, of Poteau died Tuesday, July 31, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.Â
Fred was born Nov. 27, 1937, in Wakeeney, Kan., to Henry and Minnie (Wrightmire) Kerksiek. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force. He was a mechanic. Fred attended the First Free Will Baptist Church in Poteau. He was preceded in death by his father and his wife, Beatrice. He loved gardening, fishing and hunting.
Geraldine M. Thompson entered the world on Feb. 16, 1929, in Cameron, the daughter of Jesse Green Thompson and Dessie Erma Willow Lee Goforth.
During her 83 years of life, Geraldine most cherished the times spent with her family and loved ones.
