Sherry Ann Hollan, 61, of Red Oak died Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 22, at the Wister School Cafetorium. Burial will be in Wister Cemetery, under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton.
Lula Faye (Green) VanVeKoven, 79, of Poteau passed away peacefully under the watchful eyes of the nurses and staff members at Select Specialty Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark., on Tuesday, Sept. 18, 2012, at 4:06 a.m. Born Feb. 23, 1933, in Williams, she was the youngest of two children born to native Oklahomans William A. “Jude” Green and Edith Naomi (Hobbs) Green.
