William Elijah Lyon, affectionately dubbed Liam, was born Feb. 18, 2011, at 3:25 a.m. to Whitney and Brody Lyon in Fort Smith, Ark. He was a perfect size, weighing 6 pounds and measuring 19 inches long.Â
Liam was quickly diagnosed with hypoplastic left heart syndrome and in the short time that Liam was here, he changed the world we live in. His story of love and courage crossed borders and continents as he traveled to various hospitals across the country in an effort to save his life. He has touched the lives of tens of thousands on his Facebook page, I Love Liam Lyon.
