George McGee Jr., 89, of Albion died Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2012, in Talihina.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, Sept. 7, at Albion Baptst Church. Burial will be in Albion Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
September 4th
Lavinia Jane Quigg, 95, of Poteau died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, in Poteau. Lavinia was born Oct. 4, 1917, in Avery to O.W. and Drucella (Sample) Wilcher. She was a homemaker. Lavinia was a member of the Poteau Church of Christ.Â
She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Fred Murfin; second husband, Clyde Quigg; sister, Zula Province; grandsons, Steve Chandler, Mikal Morphis; great grandson, Colton Samuels; son-in-law Winford Chandler.
Donald W. Parker, 62, of Poteau died Monday, Sept. 3, 2012, in Poteau. He was born May 11, 1950, in Oklahoma City to Bennie Franklin and Wilma Lafaye (Blaylock) Parker. He was a graduate of Poteau High School, a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps where he served in Vietnam, a lifetime member of Disabled American Veterans and retired from the production department at Bremner.
He is preceded in death by his father, Bennie F. Parker, and his only son, Bryan Lee Parker.
