Marie Cowan, 85, of Poteau died Friday, April 26, 2013, in Van Buren, Ark. Services will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
Judith Ann Steelman, 35, of Heavener died Thursday, April 25, 2013, in Heavener.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Sunday, April 28, in Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. Burial will be in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
Alice Dix, 92, of Spiro died Wednesday, April 24, 2013. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 27, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home chapel with burial in New Hope Cemetery. Family visitation will be 6-8 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

Billy George Davis, 80, of Bokoshe died Monday, April 22, 2013. Services were held Wednesday, April 24, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home in Spiro with burial in Old Cache Cemetery at Keota.

James Lee Janway, 80, of Hodgen died Monday, April 22, 2013, in Hodgen.
Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, April 25, in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home, Heavener.
Raymond Eugene Thompson Sr., 61, of Poteau died Monday, April 22, 2013, in Poteau. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, April 24, at Greenhill Cemetery Pavilion, Cameron. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.

Helen Degraffenreed, 70, of Heavener, died Wednesday, April 17, in Heavener. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, April 20, in Summerfield Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home.
Levi Granger Goodman, 13, of Monroe died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Monroe. Levi was born July 16, 1999, in Poteau to Wendell and Connie (Irwin) Goodman. He was a student at Monroe. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Ted and Bernice Goodman of Oregon, Ola Couch of Bokoshe and Levi and Corda Walker of Gilmore.

Ray Baldridge, 83, of Poteau died Tuesday, April 16, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Calvary Assembly of God in Poteau. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Heavener, under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home.
Reanus E. Cox, 87, of Panama died Sunday, April 14, 2013, in Panama.
Reanus was born Jan. 31, 1926, in Tahona to Sim and Vada (Phillips) Cox. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was involved in the Normandy Invasion. He was retired as a lock and dam operator for the civil service and also retired as chief of the Panama Fire Department. Reanus was a member of the Moshulatubbee Masonic Lodge, Cameron.Â
