Carl Leroy Murry, 57, of Spiro died Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Tuskahoma Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Virgil E. âBillâ Cody, 71, of Bokoshe passed away Saturday, March 2, 2013, in Bokoshe.
Shirley Anderson Autry, 74, of Spiro died Friday, March 1, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Shirley was born March 22, 1938, in Poker Bend to Harve and Rose (Shoup) Anderson. She was a homemaker. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents and one sister, Emma Lawrence.

Shelly Renee Carpenter, 44, of Spiro died Monday, Feb. 25. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, March 2, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery.
Charley Potter Sr., 71, of Poteau died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Poteau. He was born Sept. 16, 1941, at Cameron to W.A. âBillâ and Stellie âMaeâ (Smith) Potter. He was a self-employed carpenter and owner of Charleyâs Construction.
He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers and sisters.
Lloyd Hale, 81, of Panama died Thursday, Feb. 28, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Lloyd was born April 3, 1931, in Bokoshe to James W. and Mollie (Poteet) Hale. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army, serving in Korea. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Loretta; sister, Berniece; and brothers, Haskell and Mousey.

Jan Adam Will, 72, of Poteau died Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, in Poteau. Jan was born April 12, 1940, in Milwaukee, Wis., to Gustive and Olive Loretta (Smith) Will. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Jan was a plastics engineer. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Poteau. Jan was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters.
Louise Wann, 93, of Wister died Feb. 22, 2013, in Barling, Ark. Louise was born Feb. 22, 1920, in Jackson, Miss., to Ervin and Willie Sue (Cain) Woodall. She was a grocery clerk and also worked in child care. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Granville, Wann; granddaughter, JoAnn Metzger; brother, R.Q. Woodall; sisters, Ruby Seaborn and Helen Burt. She was the last charter member of the Bethel Baptist Church.
Erica Ladd Duke of Spiro was born Feb. 5, 1987, in Poteau to Eric and Debbie (Queener) Ladd. She died Feb. 25, 2013, in Spiro. She was 26.

Bud Treat, 88, of Sallisaw died Tuesday, Feb. 26, 2013, in Sallisaw. He was born June 17, 1924, at Kanima, to David T. and Annie Bell (Young) Treat. He was a rancher. Â
He was preceded in death by his parents; five brothers, Clayton, Clyde, Calvin, Clarence and Claude; and three sisters, Agnes Puckett, Bonnie Hanna and Betty Chitwood.Â
