Barbara King, 78, of Cameron died Feb. 14, 2014, in Pocola. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Grace Manor Memorial Chapel, Poteau. Burial will be in Fair Hill Cemetery, Cameron.Â Viewing will be from 2-4 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
Sharon Kay Roberts, 62, of Van Buren, Ark., formerly of Heavener died Thursday, Feb. 13, 2014, in Van Buren.Â Graveside services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, Feb. 17, at Glendale Mount View Cemetery, Wister, under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau.
Terry Allen Getz, 43, of Jenks died Tuesday, Feb. 11, 2014, in Grapevine, Texas. Terry was born Aug. 20, 1970 in Fort Smith, Ark., to Wayne and Patsy G. (Qualls) Bottoms. He was a superintendent for Chesapeake Energy. Terry loved to race and work on his race cars, four-wheeling, hunting, doing anything outdoors. He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Doug Bottoms; and grandmother, Ada Jones.
The Rev. Gary C. Maxwell, 62, of Keota died Wednesday, Feb. 12, 2014, in Fort Smith, Ark.
He was born April 17, 1951, in Keota to Curtis and Lavelle Maxwell.
Raymond Charles Mackey, 67, of Wister died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, at Sparks Hospital in Fort Smith, Ark.
Services will be held at 2 p.m, Friday, Feb. 14, at Thessalonian Baptist Church.Â Burial will be in the Thessalonian Church Cemetery, Salonia Community, under the direction of Jones Harkins Funeral Home, Wilburton.
Earl Wilden, 80, of Spiro died Friday, Feb. 7, 2014, in Spiro. He was born Jan. 1, 1934, in Tulsa to James Thomas and Lola Marie (Griffin) Wilden. He was a boilermaker, a member of International Brotherhood of Boilermakers Lodge 592 since May 6, 1966, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.Â
Earl is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Mary Easter (Johnson) Wilden; a daughter, Brenda Kay Wilkins; three sisters, Virginia Suindell, Geneva Laughlin and Helen Welch; two brothers, Chester Thomas Wilden and Earnest Wilden; brother-in-law, Junior New.
Lottie â€śDudeâ€ť Goodwin, 84, of Cameron died Monday, Feb. 10, 2014, in Cameron. She was born July 17, 1929, in Tahlequah to Lonnie and Ida Martin. She was a homemaker, a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. Lottie was a member of the Jehovahâ€™s Witness Church in Poteau. She had an infectious laugh and was a joy to everyone who knew her. Her loss leaves a void in the lives of her loved ones that nothing can ever fill.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother Raymond Martin.
Philip Wayne Peak, 71, of Howe died Saturday, Feb. 8, 2014, at his home.
Services were held Monday, Feb. 10, at Dowden Funeral Home Chapel in Heavener.
Doyle Lynn Kelley, 73, of Oklahoma City, formerly of Paris, Ark., died Feb. 3, 2014, in Oklahoma City.
A memorial service was held Monday at New Hope United Methodist Church in Oklahoma City.
Wayne Jenson, 89, of Poteau died Wednesday, Feb. 5, 2014, in Oklahoma City. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, at Evans Chapel of Memories.Â Family visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. Friday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
