Shirley Ann Harper, 72, of Shady Point died Friday, March 22, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Shirley was born March 11, 1941, in Parthenon, Ark., to Cyril P. and Flora (Wilson) Toney. She worked in the nursing home. Shirley was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Paul Harper, and brother, James Toney. She was a good cook. Shirley was a Baptist.
Survivors include her brother, John Toney of Calhoun; sister and brother-in-law, Linda and Jerry Loudermilk of Calhoun; numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces and nephews and other relatives and loved ones.Â

Patricia Ann Clark, 74, of Spiro died Thursday, March 21, 2013. Services are planned at 2 p.m. Monday, March 25, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro.
Wayne Clayton “W.C.†McWaters, 84, of Shady Point died Thursday, March 14, 2013, in Spiro. Services are set Friday, March 22, at the McWaters residence, 117 Guthrie, Apt. 217, Spiro. Evans and Miller Funeral Home, Poteau, is handling arrangements.
Vivian Fern “Mammaw†Kitchens, 84, of Arkoma passed away Thursday, March 21, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark., after a courageous battle with pulmonary fibrosis.

Rosie Lee Miller, 69, of Wister died Wednesday, March 20, 2013.Â
Services are planned for 2 p.m. Saturday, March 23, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. Burial will be in Hontubby Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.

David Ladd, 70, of Stigler died Wednesday, March 20. Services are planned at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 23, in Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Stigler.

Reba Inez Barbee, 83, of Spiro died Sunday, March 17, 2013.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Friday, March 22, at First Baptist Church in Spiro. Burial will be at 1 p.m. in Hoyt Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Amos “Aurbie†Humphries, 87, of Monroe died Friday, March 15, 2013, in Poteau. Aurbie was born June 13, 1925, in Gilmore to Samuel Green and Lillie A. (Goodin) Humphries. He was a rancher. Aurbie was preceded in death by his wife, Jewellene (Harp) Humphries.
Lonnie L. Pickering, 81, of Bokoshe died Sunday, March 17, 2013, in Fort Smith, Ark. Lonnie was born July 12, 1931, in Cameron to Floyd and Dile (Archey) Pickering. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army and served in Korea. He worked for Felt Mills in Kansas City, Mo. Lonnie attended Calvary Assembly of God in Poteau.Â

Amos “Aurbie†Humphries, 87, of Poteau died Friday, March 15, 2013, in Poteau. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, March 19, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau. Burial will be in Vaughn Cemetery, Gilmore. The family with visit with friends and relatives from 6-8 p.m. Monday at Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
