James Bradberry, 92, of Spiro died Wednesday, March 14, 2012. Funeral services are planned at 10 a.m. Saturday, March 17, in Mallory-Martin Chapel in Spiro. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home.

Lucille Patrice Brown, 42, of Wister died Sunday, March 11, 2012, at her home.
A memorial service will be held at 10 a.m., Friday, March 16, at The House of Hope Church in Poteau. Arrangements are under the direction of Add’Vantage Funeral Service of Tulsa.

James Hardy Windham

James Hardy Windham, 73, of Temple, Texas, died Tuesday, March 13, in Temple.
Hardy was born on July 15, 1936, in Muskogee to Hardy Orban and Mildred Ruth Windham. He graduated from Muskogee High School and earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from the University of Oklahoma. After becoming a CPA, he joined the accounting firm of Ernst and Young in Houston, then spent many years as vice president and chief financial officer of Houston Corp., a private investment firm.

Bertha Jewel Henry

Bertha Jewel “B.J.” Henry, 85, Poteau went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, March 13, 2012. Bertha was born March 5, 1927, in Stillwell, to Noah and Evia Moss. BJ enjoyed gardening, reading, sewing, hunting, fishing, brush hogging, and her cat, Ta’sha and dog, Oscar Meyer. Most of all she loved her kids and grandkids.
She was preceded in death by her parents, nine brothers and one sister.

Farmer James Wann

Farmer James Wann, 95, of  Pocola died Monday, March 12, 2012, in a Fort Smith hospital. He was retired Superintendent of Pocola Public Schools, member of Pocola First Baptist Church, 32nd Degree Mason and on the Kibois Board of Directors. He was preceded in death by his wife, Wilka Wann.
He is survived by his wife, Dorothy Allison Wann of the home; one son, Ronnie James Wann of Siloam Springs; one sister, Mental Balentine of Poteau; and two grandchildren.

Roy Wilbur Hoover, 88, of Pocola died Sunday, March 11, 2012, in Arkoma. Graveside services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Macedonia Cemetery, Pocola, with Rev. Thomas Corrigan officiating. Arrangements under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.

Dorothy Marie Robison, 72, of Poteau died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Fort Smith, Ark.
Dorothy was born June 15, 1939, in Tacoma, Wash., to Andrew and Melvina (Skladony) Severnack. She worked as an insurance company supervisor. 
Survivors include her husband, Frankie Robison of the home; son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Cynthia Larkin of Poteau; sister, Claudia Petty of Camino Island, Wash.; other relatives and loved ones. 
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, March 15, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau, with Rev. Jim Parsley officiating. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery, Spiro.

Tessie McFadden, 91, of Oklahoma City died Wednesday, March 7, 2012, in Oklahoma City.
Services were held Monday at the Talihina Funeral Home Chapel. Burial was in Prairie Grove Cemetery, Talihina, under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.

Dorothy Mae Frizzell, 87, of Heavener died Monday, March 12, 2012, in Tulsa. Services will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday, March 14, at Heavener First Baptist Church. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Dowden Funeral Home.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Talihina School Auditorium with Kenny Bryant officiating. Burial will be in the Old Talihina Cemetery under the direction of Talihina Funeral Home.
