Mary Katherine “Katey” Stephens Cox, 37, of Spiro died Wednesday, May 14, 2014. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, May 17, at Cavanaugh Free Will Baptist Church in Fort Smith, Ark. Burial will be in Spiro City Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 19, at the Faith Pentecostal, Talihina, with Brother Jimmy Bater officiating.  Burial will be in Cupco Cemetery under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service, Talihina.

Eileen Beasley, 65, of Muse died Tuesday, May 13, 2014, in McAlester.
Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, May 16, at the Humphreys Family Cemetery near Lenox under the direction of Burkhart Funeral Service, Talihina.

Betty Sue Beshers Featherston

Betty Sue Beshers Featherston was born June 11, 1954, to Tommy Newton Beshers and Stella (Stephens) Beshers in the small town of Tahona. She was the eighth child and the fourth girl. She attended Panama schools and made many a lifetime friend. She passed from this life on May 13, 2014, in Fort Smith, Ark., after a sudden illness. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William T. Featherston II; sister, Wanda Lee English; and brothers, Harvey and Leon Beshers.

Hattie Edgle Tyler Holton, 74, of Spiro died Monday, May 12, 2014. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, May 16, at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be in New Hope Cemetery. Viewing will be from 6-8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.

Braiden Andres Lopez of Stigler was born Feb. 21, 2014, in McAlester to Emiliano and Jenna Good Lopez and died May 1 in Stigler.
He is survived by his parents, Emiliano and Jenna Good-Lopez; siblings, Keigan Good, Kyirah Lopez-Good, Alexia Nadia Lopez-Good, all of the home; grandparents, Andres Lopez and Herminia Diaz of Mexico, Jamie and Nikki Good of Kansas City, Pandora Good of Stigler; aunts and uncles, Kylee and Ryan Curson, Heather Hyatt and Marcelino Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Ramon Lopez, Alicia Lopez, Rolando Lopez, Guillerro Lopez, Graciela Lopez and Ramiro Diaz.

 Todd A. Lehman died unexpectedly in Oilton on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born on July 26, 1978 in Green Bay, Wis.
Todd was a free spirit who was never afraid to be himself and was not held back by others’ opinions. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Todd enjoyed cheese curds, Green Bay Packers, fishing, doing artwork from drawing pictures when he was younger to woodworking and carving, then into his profession of masonry. He adored his fiancé, Angela; sons, Kane and Micah; his mother, Cyndi; sisters, Shannon and Kiym; and his special dog, Sissy.

Carlon Sue Lomon, 62, of Cameron died Monday, May 12, 2014, in Cameron. Carlon was born Feb. 24, 1952 in Cameron to Jim and Erma Mae (Goodwin) Archey. She retired from Alltel. Carlon was preceded in death by her parents and son, Heath Lomon.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie K. and Lynda Archey of Cameron; sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Mike Caughron of Richmond, Texas; father of her son, Jackie Lomon of Cameron; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
