Braiden Andres Lopez of Stigler was born Feb. 21, 2014, in McAlester to Emiliano and Jenna Good Lopez and died May 1 in Stigler.
He is survived by his parents, Emiliano and Jenna Good-Lopez; siblings, Keigan Good, Kyirah Lopez-Good, Alexia Nadia Lopez-Good, all of the home; grandparents, Andres Lopez and Herminia Diaz of Mexico, Jamie and Nikki Good of Kansas City, Pandora Good of Stigler; aunts and uncles, Kylee and Ryan Curson, Heather Hyatt and Marcelino Lopez, Jorge Lopez, Ramon Lopez, Alicia Lopez, Rolando Lopez, Guillerro Lopez, Graciela Lopez and Ramiro Diaz.
Â Todd A. Lehman died unexpectedly in Oilton on Monday, May 5, 2014. He was born on July 26, 1978 in Green Bay, Wis.
Todd was a free spirit who was never afraid to be himself and was not held back by othersâ€™ opinions. He will be dearly missed by all who knew him. Todd enjoyed cheese curds, Green Bay Packers, fishing, doing artwork from drawing pictures when he was younger to woodworking and carving, then into his profession of masonry. He adored his fiancÃ©, Angela; sons, Kane and Micah; his mother, Cyndi; sisters, Shannon and Kiym; and his special dog, Sissy.
Carlon Sue Lomon, 62, of Cameron died Monday, May 12, 2014, in Cameron. Carlon was born Feb. 24, 1952 in Cameron to Jim and Erma Mae (Goodwin) Archey. She retired from Alltel. Carlon was preceded in death by her parents and son, Heath Lomon.
Survivors include her brother and sister-in-law, Jimmie K. and Lynda Archey of Cameron; sister and brother-in-law, Melba and Mike Caughron of Richmond, Texas; father of her son, Jackie Lomon of Cameron; numerous aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
Peggy Miller, 88, of Sallisaw died Monday, May 12, 2014 peacefully at home, due to complications of Alzheimerâ€™s disease. Even though she lost her battle, as one of Jehovahâ€™s Witnesses, she had strong faith in the resurrection. Peggy was a devoted wife of 56 years to her husband, Gene Miller, who passed away in June 2009.
John Thomas McKinney, 55, of Spiro died Friday, May 9, 2014.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 15, in Old Cache Cemetery under the direction of Mallory-Martin Funeral Home, Spiro
George Rice Jr., 84, of Oklahoma City died peacefully surrounded by his family May 6, 2014. George was born December 16, 1929 in LeFlore County to George Addison and Nancy (Gabbard) Rice. He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. George worked in logistics for General Dynamics Corp., retiring in 1991 after 35 years. George was a member of the Southpark Baptist Church where he served as a deacon and was in the Promise Keepers Volunteer group. He was a beloved husband, father, grand and great-grandfather, uncle and friend.
Joe Darrel Parker, 74, of Bokoshe died Thursday, May 8, 2014. Graveside services will beheld at 10 a.m. Monday, May 12, in Old Bokoshe Cemetery. Family visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Sunday at Mallory-Martin Funeral Home Chapel in Spiro.
Sylvia Marie (Shannon) Loucks, 100, of Poteau passed away Wednesday, May 7, 2014 in Poteau. Sylvia was born Jan. 5, 1914, in Stilwell to John W. and Nina Ann (Hughes) Shannon. Sylvia was married for 52 years to Vernon Loucks. She graduated from high school in 1929 at the age of 15. After attending business college she worked as a bookkeeper until the 1980s, only taking off a few years until her daughters were in school. Sylvia was a devout Christian woman who was very active in the First Christian Church. She was a wonderful, loving wife, mother and grandmother.
Gerald Dee Rana Sr., the most wonderful husband and father that God has placed on this earth, of Red Oak died Wednesday, May 7, 2014, at his residence at the age of 84.
George Rice Jr., 84 of Oklahoma City died Tuesday, May 6, 2014.
Services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday, May 12, at Evans Chapel of Memories, Poteau.Â Burial will be in Oakland Cemetery under the direction of Evans and Miller Funeral Home.
