A famous song lyric says, “... no one can love you more.” For the Heavener Lady Wolves basketball team, that lyric will now say, “No one can love you 'Moore' — as in Paul Moore.
Moore is the new Heavener girls basketball coach, replacing Jeff Walker, who took the Stigler Lady Panthers coaching job.
When the opportunity arose for Darrick Farriell to get closer to home, he did just that.
The former Bethel Wildcats basketball coach was hired as the new Talihina Golden Tigers basketball coach, replacing the retiring Chris Gillespie.
“I got closer to my home and my family for one thing,” Farriell said. “My family is at Kinta.”
But that's not the only reason why he took the Talihina job.

The Poteau Outlaws peewee baseball team hopes that if it does its part this weekend to qualify for the state tournament that the general public will do its part to help them get there.
If the Outlaws, who were undefeated through Thursday night in the regional tournament, win the regional title, they will qualify for the OK Kids Peewee State Tournament next week in Weatherford.
If that happens, the Outlaws, entering Friday's regional action at 24-0, will be seeking donations to help offset the costs of the trip. Donations will be needed by noon Monday.
