The LeFlore County Bass Club's 2012 Classic Tournament took place last weekend at Firefly Landing on Broken Bow Lake. There were 30 boats in the two-day tournament. A total of 55 anglers caught 124 total fish, which had a combined weight of 257.89 pounds. The average fish weighed 2.08 pounds, and 10 limits were caught.
The 2012 champions are Keith Griffith and Gary Steelman, who hauled in 30.65 pounds to pocket $3,400.
Kelly Gravitt, Talihina's football coach, could not be happier with his Golden Tigers' 6-0 start to the season, or with how they played in last week's 51-20 victory over Sallisaw-Central at Doc Robinson Stadium.
